As one of Canada’s rising fashion stars, ModRobes decided that in order to
secure their future, they needed to reduce their reliance on retailers and forge
ahead with their own retail strategy by opening corporate run retail stores.
PRG has and continues to play an integral part of this new strategy by:
- Liquidating excess warehouse stock, (the result of yet another retailers bad credit), to provide the working capital needed to develop the in house retail strategy.
- The introduction of a seasoned retail professional to lead the company’s new retail vision.
- Advising management on the latest retail technology trends and suppliers that could provide a system that would work within their company’s unique culture, not change it.

As the importers of Timberland branded clothing and accessories in Canada, Jaytex Inc. needed to add retail opportunities in order to maintain its distribution rights in Canada. After several key retailers closed their doors, management decided that an in-house retail strategy was the key to their long term success.
PRG was brought in to assist the owners in developing a retail strategy, including site selection, marketing, management hiring and training, POS technology and ultimately in the sale of the division to a large Canadian multi bannered retailer.
